Why is the Active Luxe Lash derma roller effective?

The derma roller massage (also known as waltzing, microneedling, or dermarolling) with needles causes gentle and harmless skin damage. This stimulates the wound healing process, leading to skin regeneration and the production of collagen and elastin that prevent skin aging.

By creating small micro-injuries, serums and other cosmetic products penetrate the skin more effectively, are better absorbed, and produce more visible effects. Rolling needles across the face isn’t the most relaxing experience, but it shouldn’t be painful. The pressure of the roller on the skin should always be gentle.

The recommended use of the derma roller for facial, scalp, or beard massage is once to twice a week because the skin needs time to regenerate. Here’s how you’ll use the Active Luxe Derma Roller:

Before and after using the derma roller for massage, be sure to disinfect it with Active Luxe Cleanser antibacterial spray.

• Spray the needles and wait for 10 to 15 seconds for them to dry.
• Start massaging the area of the face, scalp, or beard with the derma roller in all three directions (vertical, horizontal, and diagonal). The entire process should not last longer than 3-5 minutes.

Do not use derma roller on damaged, irritated, or problematic skin. The pressure of the derma roller on the skin should be gentle and should not cause pain. For hygienic reasons, do not share the derma roller with another person. When the needles of the derma roller are no longer sharp enough to penetrate the skin, it’s time to replace them. We recommend changing the derma roller every 6 months.

A few tips for getting started with dermarolling

Dermarolling is a minimally invasive procedure. As long as you use the right technique, follow the instructions for usage, and use a facial serum that suits you, you shouldn’t experience any side effects.

People with contagious skin diseases that can spread to other parts of the face and those with psoriasis should consult a doctor before use. If you use products with retinol or have sunburns, caution is also advised. Choose a serum that will benefit your face when it penetrates the skin. During massage, avoid potentially irritating retinol and vitamin C, which can further irritate the skin. The best choice will be serums with hyaluronic acid.
